View Full Version : Me again, the blind one :)
well I go under the knife on the 6th October for an emergency corneal graft as an attempt to stop the pain and although I'm ****ting it I really hope it will help, well it can't be any worse :)
So with any luck I might have some sight back soon. The stitches stay in for 12 months and its a long process but at least it's something.
take care folks
hope to see you soon :)

Many thanks, I've been reading the forums and such just didn't really have much to say, things have been a bit bad for me, what with the trike being ripped off and my eye, but with any luck things will be on the up :) and this new reading software and stuff helps a lot now.
And this Roy Obison look is doing me no good for the street cred :)

take it easy Borg.....I had laser surgery straight onto my cornea so I appreciate your fears :)
My poor old dad had a detached retina and after they re-attached it he wasn't supposed to move for 12 weeks...just lie on sofa....FFS what about feeding, toilet, moving in yer sleep etc, they really expected him not to move for 3 months, sheesh, he's ok now though which is the main thing, and I'm sure you will be too, don't be a stranger hinny

Some people would say they wouldn't notice the difference if I did that :)
