Does any of the old gits out there remember the magazine "Motorcycle Mechanics" . If my poor ole memory serves me correctly the title also included three wheelers. Oh they were the days, the illustrious Bond minicar, bubble cars, or for the head cases the Berkeley, which I believe was subject to engine chopping. These things looked like an E type Jag, but on three wheels, and with a sorted engine in could really shift!!
So I was wondering, if I sell all my bikes and buy a good old Isetta, will I still be allowed to come to the farmyard rally?
Don't take me too seriously, I am only joking, its just a thought, cos in those days motorbikes and three wheelers came under the same banner. Must go I'm off down the town too shove MAG membership forms under the windscreen wipers of Reliant Robins, a previously untapped source of members methinks!!! :D

:) I must get down W H Smiths more, its this silly work thing you know, gets in the way of most things. Come to think about it, that's probably why I ride my bike to work, its the only chance I get, sob sob!!

Saw a bubble car today as it happens. Thought, "You don't see many of those..." Then I remembered why. They are scary. My dad had one and it used to loosen my bowels on the corners.

And people used to drive them front first into their garages forgetting they had no reverse and you couldn't open them in a confined space!!!!:D

:o Don't tell anyone, but I did have an Isetta for a short while, and they did have reverse. Mind you they were weird contraptions, the bloke I sold it to got rid of his nice T120 Bonnie to buy it, how sad is that? :confused:
