Hello out there - got a question for you, its probably been asked a thousand times before but here goes - does anybody know if there is a way I can get round the sva test for my motorcycle engined trike at the moment its registered as a motorcycle. Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Colin

The SVA doesn't apply any more to trikes that are under 1 tonne, less than 13' 6" long etc.
You'll be looking at an MSVA which is easier than most MoT's if you know the score.
The only pain is the time it takes to get a DVLA inspector to see the trike and send you back the paperwork.
Book your MSVA direct with your local V.I. centre (Check VOSA) web site for test centres) it'll cost £70

That's all handy but nearest test centre is about 45-50 miles away and £70  - that's not exactly the sort of money I have lying around.
