The royal college of midwives sez we should pay for epidurals now!!!
Well they can f*ck off for a start - no epidural means no kids as far as I am concerned. The royal college of midwives have always been a bunch of mocassin wearing, not shaving under their armpits or wearing deodorant tea leaf eaters as far as I'm concerned but this is going too far!
Let's take this to it's logical conclusion: Any of you poufs want general anaesthetic with your major surgery then pay for it or suffer the agony...right?
No one is going to tell me I can't have any pain relief and if it was refused I would sue the pants of the bastards...enough said (for now):(

I would imagine that they are talking about charging people who elect to have an epidural, rather than those who need it as a result of severe pain.

Believe it or not, it is possible to have children with painkillers - I should know, I've done it twice!

it may be to put women off having the epidural as sometimes it can be dangerous,, women have been crippled by them.

i cant see a hospital asking you to sign a cheque whilst in labour,,,lol,,,,no doctor would have the guts to go near a woman in that much pain! ;)

I can't comment because I've had 4 labours and none of em hurt a bit

I was the opposite Doro, never healthier than when I was pregnant, loved it... labour, never again! Mind you, I didn't have any pain relief so I probably deserved it!
