As anyone who knows me can vouch, I would rather drink poison than go clothes shopping but i'm down to three changes of clothes so decided to go to Brighton and have a look round.
What the f*ck is all the crap in the shops?????? This year we will mostly be looking like c*nts and wearing wool pastel coloured baker boy hats (puke, vomit) and frilly hankies masquerading as clothing.
Didn't find a single wearable item of clothing after 6 hours so came home in disgust!
I have only one option left open to me, I will have to either go Goth or become an extreme naturist and refuse to wear any clothers anywhere, ever!
From now on I am only shopping from catalogues in the comfort of my own home - I am traumatised!
Brighton has the most fashion victims I have ever seen collected in one place, I tried very hard not to laugh - and failed :D
Does anyone else have this much trouble finding something decent to wear or is it just me?

Here we are, the abomination. This get up is what we will apparently be wearing this season and is in all the shops
Now correct me if I'm wrong but don't you recall seeing old ladies in this sorta thing in church when you were dragged there on occasion as a kid?

Mrs Reject i know what you mean about the shops & there lack of style for those of us who have some dress sense, thats why i spend most of my time now in combats and para boots, its a good excuse too for me to use so i dont have to dress girlie very often

Why do you need more than three sets of clothes anyway? That's one set to wear, one in the wash, and a clean set in case of accidents! Who needs more? But I can just see you in the baker boy look  (better disguise myself this weekend now!)

Me too:D However there are times when I would like to scrub up good and put on something nice. Me and Mitch don't do scrubbed up very well - we both look like we have been forceably stuffed into nice clothes with a broom up our bums :)
Having whinged about all the local shops though I did find one where I could have bought the whole shop as it all looked great when I tried it all on - very nice stuff that fitted really well. There were no price tags on anything and when I enquired about the price the cheapest thing in the shop was £150 - exit Mrs R through the nearest window!!!!
What is this shopping for clothes of which you speak?

How much??? hey i dont go in shops where there are no prices on the clothes - you know what they say if you have to ask how much - then you cant afford it :(
yes it is nice to scrub up now and again and remind myself that i am a girlie however it has to be in something that i feel comfortable in or i spend most of the time feeling really self conscious and fidgety like i have got fleas or something
