I think it's still pretty effective.
Bring back the Public Information Films!

I was watching that last night, even 30+ years later drivers are still unaware of anything but themselves on the road.
Public Information Films are always on at 3 in the morning when most of the 'public' are asleep

Saw that 'think bike' one the other night where you actually see the biker hit the car from inside the car. Made my stomach flip, in fact, I nearly gagged it had such a strong impact. Awful. If it makes any difference at all, it will be worth it.

Leapt out of my skin and nearly gagged, when ever it comes on now I try not to watch. My last accident was exactly the same except I went over the roof of the car and the twat in the car drove off and left my in a heap in the road. Enough said.

I'm not being all government on ya but is the fact that the guy was Asian important, I feel sorry for your bro but would it of hurt less if he was white. I'm sorry but I can't believe this is still an issue.

I think the point was that saying it was a 'paki' in Bradford is like saying to a biker - 'you'll spot me fine at the rally! i've got a shaved head and goatee beard'

Regards to the new think bike ad i still think the bike should have slammed through the car door and caved in the drivers head as the ad doesn't show the driver getting hurt which is possibly the only thing that might get through to some cage drivers.

Or show the driver screaming his head off with a Goldwing (or something equally large) front wheel where his knees used to be,and the biker picking himself up with a few scrapes and bruises. That'd make the buggers think!

I agree, i think the new compaign has more shock value than the old ones. You gotta admit its more graphic and raw, than a bloke sitting behind a desk slamming his hand down on a table. Everyone that i spoke to at my work agree that it has made them double check at junctions. Which has gotta be good.
