hello folks,,im a new to the site so ill keep it short and sweet...
if i chop a standard bike -ie-bandit, what do i tell the insurance company,
do i need a sva test or engineers report..

You need to tell 'em about the mods.
as for how, it'll depend on the company. Some of 'em want you to fill out a form, some of 'em want an engineers report.

tell them the truth - its better to be honest than otherwise.
a photo diary and basic descriptions will also help you.
with my old chop changed comapines and just from build pics on my website with basic description - after a few questions from them I saved £103.00 on my premium

Its not too bad, most insurers are ok with modifications unless they include superchargers or N20 then they get pricey, just tell em its easier. :D
