Question for a work mate.
Can i put jenolite onto exhausts before painting?
the story.
He built this smart little 2 stroke classic racebike,never used it was just a project for him.
he had these nice expansion pipes made for it,out of mild steel,thought it would be a good idea to store in the shed wrapped up in a nice bit of cotton cloth.6 months later......
goes to put them on the bike and theyre all rusty :rolleyes:
didnt think to oil/grease them,they were pitted so he had them sandblasted but the pits still show rust.
so can they be jenolited before they get painted,will the heat from the exhaust fook em up,he's never gona use it but just mr worry guts about who buys it from him.
