Mike is one of the friendliest guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He always gave me and the missus a warm welcome whenever we met at rallies and we hope he gets well soon.

All the best an work hard on your recovery. Oh and listen to the rehab nurses they will get you on your feet again. It is a LONG road to recovery from a stroke. But work hard and it will all be worth it. Don't forget plenty of rest helps as well.

Forgot to say try these people for help when it all gets to much. They to have survived a stroke and will know what your going through ( I know it helped the missus when she had hers)

He didn't have a stroke, but was pissed - fell over and banged his head.

He was on a machine for a couple of hours cos he couldn't breathe for himself, but he's ok, and will be at the GPO rally as planned.

Thats good news then, a bit of falling over when pissed is not uncommon in my neighbourhood.
