Hahahahaha, thank God no large gas explosions imminent then :D
Me and Mitch have something a tad more exciting than the pub planned for tonight (no, not that....not yet anyway!) we are going to hang out in one of the chalk caves at Birling Gap and get cut off from civilisation by the high tide for three hours accompanied by copious alcoholic sustenance. Iy is said smugglers used those caves when accidentally trapped by the high tide.
if you don't here from us tomorrow call the coastguard 'cos it means the tide was a bit higher than we expected!!!

Hmmmm... Seems weather has gone to sh1t around here, so our plans may be curtailed somewhat! I for one don't fancy getting stuck at high tide in the middle of a rain-induced tsunami!!

Thank you very much :) Try me best and Mitch is a terrible bad influence! My mother has never approved of him *right on - result!*
As it happened we never went because the weather was atrocious and we didn't fancy sitting on a two foot wide ledge for three hours with monster waves crashing over us and a storm raging overhead getting soaked. You really need a calm night for sommat like that, so later on in the week.
Played rude scrabble instead and set up camp in bedroom with duvet on poles - Mitch says no we didn't, stop typing now or he'll shut the lid on me fingers :D
