Amal Carb wanted...

Hey folks,
does anyone have an Amal carb for sale?. The later the model the better. I don't need a manifold or anything, just a complete carb. It is to replace the old Su on my WLA45 chop.

What size are you looking for?Got boxes full of amal stuff mainly 375's & 376's.

I have also got a 40mm dell'orto (that was set up for an ironhead ),if that's any good to ya ?

There are usually quite a few amals on eBay aswell.

Hi BP, looking for a carb to suit an old Harley flathead 45cu in (750cc).
Probably a 376 would do the job, as they were fitted to the Norton Atlas 750's etc.. so should do mine..
I will ring me mate Stez tomorrow, and see what he says, as he's the one that will be fitting it!! will also ask him about the dellorto, see if he thinks that would do the job..

Sorry about the delay Bassman,her indoors has just "discovered" eBay!!!,so the comp. gets hi-jacked .......... :rolleyes:

Anyway the dellorto is a PHM 40 ES,can't see any more info on it other than that.
