Hi Buddy

take it ti someone who knows what they are doing and watch, cos by the time you have knackered a whole bunch of seals knocking them into place it'll be cheaper to pay someone to do it, as well as that it'll have the bike on the road faster, do it yourself next time.

I'm talking from experience of trying to do it myself bi trial and error and a shed load of busted seals and lost oil.

FFS.... All these links to all over the place. This has been covered in the workshop section of this forum a few times. A quick search will find enough, unless ,of course, one deliberately posts it in the wrong place and does not look as an attention seeking ploy :p

Bit strong for a newcomer! remember manners maketh the man. Youll find the technical threads get answered by people with a passing knowledge at least. On this bit your as like to get a load of pisstake!

The slide hammer thingy won't work on older forks like GS's etc. Then you've got to struggle like a fecker to prise the damn things out with a tyre lever or similar......
I hate the way the Haynes Book Of Lies sez "prise out" but doesn't elaborate!
