Gay and Lesbian - WHY

How come is it that the Govt and such people have Gay and Lesbian forums and the like. Thats sexist that is because obviously lesbians are gay so if your a gay bird you get two mentions and a male pillow biter only gets one.
They should either call it just a Gay forum or a gay and lesbian and fudge packer forum. Or something. And wheres the straight people forum. I demand equality!
