I've finally agreed to sell my CBR1000 and I'm gutted - my mate doesn't have half a clue what he's getting - all bolts are ally, stainless and titanium... dyno'd @ 137bhp... 10.7sec 1/4 mile... R1 back end... 'busa front... loads of trick bits... :(

He's using it to commute... has no notion how to ride fast... I have to wait for him when I'm on the Wing!!!

Wait til I've finished the 1300... it's gonna be 'Warp speed Mr Sulu'...

Still gonna miss the thou :(

you're not just selling a bike though are you? its all the experiences you've had on it, my wife burst inti tears when i sold the guzzi california. i must admit when i saw it going up the road on the back of a trailer i had a lump in my throat :o funny, i do'nt recall any emotional attachment to a car.

Yeah, I did big miles on that bike, had loads of 'episodes' (blowing the engine at 165mph on the limiter in 5th will always stick in my mind). Spent hours tweaking, fileing, staring at it. I haven't sold a bike - I've sold part of me :(

Am getting unjustify-ably upset and must eat some chocolate
