Saturday evening one of my mates picked up an R1,rode it home, he parked it up and put a disk lock on it....this morning he got up, eager to go out for his first decent ride on it, started it, warmed it up, went to ease it out onto the road, then heard a loud crunching sound....
Yup, you guessed it...he forgot about the disk lock!!!
Its not funny...

This is why I put the disk lock key and the bike key in the disk lock pouch.....

saw 2 guys at a pub chain there bikes together once. couple of hours later after 2 many beers and a small fight 1 jumped on his bike and rode off, got to the end of the carpark before he stopped to un-chain the other bike :D
he wasnt wel amused when he noticed how many people were in fits of laughter.

Be worth checking really thouroughly; when I did that on my Bandit a few years ago, it put a hairline crack in the caliper, causing fluid to leak out.
