It looks like it's gonna rain here too in a mo. I feel really bad because I had to take a sickie today and I'm never off work sick! Had kidney problems again and spent all night pacing up and down and wondering if I should go to A&E for a shot of morphine. Seems to be calming down a bit now thank goodness.
Worse thing is I trod on something soft and somehow horrible in the dark whilst I was pacing, went back upstairs to peel whatever it was off my foot and it was a flat monster spider, yuck :eek: :o :eek:

i went down to brighton, caught in one downpour as pulled up, then ok till 5 mins to home and it dumped home me YUK

bikes, good rockabilly, goodfriens and icecream on the beach it dont get better

Weather weren't too bad here - nice enough to work on the bike by anyhow...

Though I felt at one point it was taunting me when I took a break - rain started just as Mrs R had made summat to eat - as if to say, 'if you want nice weather, you'd better get your ass outside and work on that bike'.

Luckily, the rain then held off till about 7.30 when I was just about to come in after a hard day's grinding (angle that is!! :D ) - just managed to get the tools back in the shed and the heavens opened!

Still has not rained here yet, must be some-ting about Essex, I tink we should rename it, "Costa Del Slapper" might even get out tomorrow, not that i mind a bit of rain. :o :o

Brighton? Should have come over to see us, we're only down the road from there. You would have found Mrs R with foot in a bucket of bleach and a large scrubbing brush rocking backwards and forwards trying to get remains of filthy spider off foot!!! :(

was a lot quieter than previous years, or maybe better marshalled as mot bikes went to far end, meaning not such a crush
