some of you are being very naughty

be pure
be vigilant

Torquemada!! :D and no, it's not sad.
i used to love the artwork on Nemesis the Warlock all those years ago, especiall the Gothic Empire series drawn by Bryan Talbot.
Met him once  at a comic shop in Leeds when he was signing the Luther Arkwright books - he used to have this amazing purple hair.
I made a bit of a name for myself at school as a bit of a forger - I used to copy his artwork with the old dip-pen (him and Simon Bisley's - he used to draw the ABC Warriors about the same time). It's a shame I didn't keep it up, but the last time I did anything like that was about 1990.
Mrs R's son has done a fantastic comic strip and we're trying to get it published somewhere - if anyone's interested... new magazine editor perhaps? :D
what's mausi?
and I can see all those smirks - don't think I won't know what you be doing when I'm gone
I'm still watching you
I always feel uneasy when you lot start being nice.... :D
Mitch!
thank God
it's not just me *phew* :D

He's alright.
He did the artwork for the best Bulldog advert yet, the grett monster with the three bulldogs on chains few years ago.
wasn't there an artist called Carlos or summat - didn't think much of his stuff - too untidy

I liked his work on Strontium Dog!Ooops what a giveaway.
I'd read ANYTHING (within reason) when I was in the army.

What's scary is that
a: I know what the hell you two were talking about and
b: I had collected the first 87 issues of 2000ad until they went mouldy and I had to throw them out....
A sign of a sad well-behaved youth
PS preferred the Strontium Dog / Slaine stories meself
You mean Carlos The Untidy?

Carlos Ezquerra (http://www.internet.ad/ezquerra/) is his name, bloody cracking artist (met him too, when Crisis came out - same comic shop in Leeds, along with Pat Mills, though I never really got into New Statesmen - John Smith and Jim Baikie were there too) :)
Slaine was cool, though it fecked up when Elric came into it.
Strontium Dog... Durham Red! What more can I say eh lads? :D
I had this huge stack of 2000AD's in the wardrobe when I was at home - they got dumped when I moved out. The pile kept toppling over whenever I opened the wardrobe door! I also used to go a bundle on all the t-shirts which came out, even had a Slaine one!
I liked rogue trooper and strontium dog and slaine and durham red and nemesis and chopper and and and
ok - so all the lads in my class got 2000AD from issue 1 and I used to read my boyfriend's issue every week. We got married later in life and he still had a subscription at the newsagent. As far as I know he still has. And if his mother hadn't decided to chuck out the first 300 issues when he went away to college he'd still have em all...gawd even I knew not to chuck em out!
ok - so I'm going now - behave :D
