When installing new fuel injection pipe from the Pressure Regulator to the Petrol tank, always make sure you measure it up to to the Return Spigot, not the Outlet from the tank.
This is especially important before cutting 6 quids worth of 6mm FI hose into three parts, as the remaining two parts will not be long enough to swap around. It has special relevance when the motorcycle is your only means of personal transport and the nearest motor factor is a 20 minute bus ride away.
Oh, and "BUGGER"
(sigh) At least the shops should still be open.....
