july sounds good to me as october seem's like a long, long way off. if we could get a date firmed up ( ) sooner rather than later it would be a big help so i can negotiate holiday around the date.

I'd be happy to do it but it's not my shout. FT started the thread and many people have differing ideas, that said it's an option that's open.

YEEEHAAAARRRR!! Aye, I'll be up for it, colostomy bag not withstanding.......n Blackers will be fine by me.....personally I thought that the Regent was a top venue with a laid back atmosphere, stonkin good brekkie n fine accomodation.......although the weather was frankly ****e and the local women ...........well, I did'nt see many dog poo bins if yer see wot I mean.......plenty of ornamental mantel pieces on display. Must be the sea air...But JAX n the Regent crew are top people..........
Now about SLOB n this unfeasibly large wang.........I can speak with some authority as I spent the weekend with said good bro n shared bedrooms wi' the lad. N yes..........it was quite relaxed around me but my christ, I'd put good money down to see it angry..........

So for me Blackers would be good, dates I am easy on as long as you kats put plenty o' reminders on the forum cos being a geriatric auld sod wi brain damage from a biker shunt a few year back me memory is , frankly, ****e......although I am sure I would have remembered an unfeasibly large penis wavin about before my careworn visage.........

N as for the gift.............well.............

Right on............Aye.......

BUMP!

Right! these are my thoughts!

I'd like it be kept just to forum members as have all previous parties. They've been great fun.

If we could keep the meeting a bit more to central UK, e.g Liecs, Northants, Warwickshire maybe.

I like Freaks Idea, I don't know where he lives though.

I'm easy on dates (or figs! ahem!) Ijust thought that late Sept/early Oct wouldn't clash with the bigger rallies.

July sounds good to me.

There was rumour that there was gonna be a Forum Band at one point maybe we could ressurect this for the entertainment? And a disco possibly? depends what sort of facilities we can get, or what Freak is willing to put up with?

alternatively I could hunt around here locally for a pub with a field near the coast, that would be willing to put up with us lot for the weekend?

As I said I'm easy, just that I'd like to keep it pretty central, and to forum members only if poss!

Wodja think?

Jimmymoonlite aka Ever Ready :DAs an aside, Jimmy, you brought around many bags of fuel for the Brazier at the Plough.....

Thats down sourf to us lot up here
If your making it a central; location....How about central as in the UK and not central as in england ??

keeping it to forum members is the right way to go...still a few of you still to meet yet without starting a whole new lot

I'm easy on dates Me too, as long as it dont clash with Faro or the Quay vipers do

Might even wear my kilt to the next one

15-01-2006, 04:32 PM
Why not all gate crash a party that is already booked?

Camping available, food and a 24 hour licence.

7th july though - which is a friday, did try for the 8th, but there is roundy, roundy racing on.

Venue is The Coach House, Mallory Park - nothing to pay, just turn up and have fun. The function room is already booked :D

The Plough seems an excellent venue for forum do's, what with the camping an all.....and the nice plane across the road to look at too..... :D
it is a long way for some, and not so far for others, but i guess that will happen no matter where we have it eh?
Maybe we could set up a kitty or something to help with the travelling expenses of those who have a long way to travel.....i would gladly chip in if I thought the peeps getting the cash were genuinely skint. I would rather help thier finances than not have peeps there..... :D
I guess the dates need to be sorted asap so peeps can book time off work etc.
oooooooooh another party....i cant wait....... :D

That is a fantastic idea

also the Tally ho is a bit expensive - but if we could book the whole place and get a decent discount B+B could be £30 pp pn or cheaper

that way out of season parties would be more accomodating

well I have it on good aauthority that the dead centre of the British Isles is Blanchland - which is near-ish Durham

however I think jonny and us will be having many more nights at the plough - cos it's convenient

but for a proper forum do I think we should go further north

and I reckon the fenrir rally would be a good one

so I'm away to post a poll

Hey santa...There's nothing worn under the kilt...
(it's all in perfect working order)

I can take a joke about kilts and not let it bother me, but a rather stupid Italian at Faro last year made the almost fatal mistake of wiping his nose on mine in front of his mates.....Had to quickly slap him about a bit till his mates dragged him to safety....Dont think he'll do that again......such is life....
