I thought they were a bit expensive too!

For anyone in the south, I have to recommend BB Customs (http://www.bbcustoms.biz/index.html) cos Bruce built my trike!

They have been here in Peterborough for a while now. Don't ride trikes myself so never been to the shop, but, as they say, I know someone who has, and apparantly are a good bunch.

Called in to a trike shop one day last year down Fengate, found it by accident. Same side as Plumb Center but towards the industrial estate.
End of a dirty lane where some bike shop sits. Good people. Been there a few years apparently. That the one?

So, lemme get this straight....

Bike n Trikes n stuff - is that the same place that I posted at the top of this thread, or somewhere else?
And where should my mate - who lives in Bolton and knows nothing about trikes - go to get a trike?

Apart from the ads in 100%Biker, of course, which I've already told her! Trouble is, she doesn't really want to buy privately unless it comes recommended cos, as I said, she doesn't know about trikes and doesn't want to buy a lemon!

For good well priced well built trikes, call Trick Trio Trikes in Wales. Blokies name is Sean 01685 845111 . Lovely bloke and very well priced in my opinion, :D Tell him I passed his name on.

Hi guys, I'm the one that Bikergran was referring to, who's looking for a trike

cheers for all the replies, very useful!

Decided not to go for the trikeworks one in the end, so still looking for a trike, if anyone knows of a decent one going....

had a look in both bsh + 100%biker (when we finally found a shop up here that sells it!) and there's a few decent ones in 100% that we like the look of, in particular the virago 535 and the gs850

we like the look of both of these, and they're within our price range. Anyone got any comments on these? I can copy their specs here if needed...

we also like the xj900, black with silver flames, but it is slightly above our budget

anyways, all ideas really welcome, cheers (sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm really tired! lol )

Keep lookin messymuppet, it took me months, an miles of traveling to find the right trike we wanted.
But we got it in the end.
Funnily enough we got it from a guy in Bolton.
