I might be a bit behind the times here but just read on the discovery channel that Indian Larry passed away.
I was looking at the site to see if there were any times of when The Great Biker Build off was showing as i have missed a couple and read about it then.
Have you any details, Pat? or any1 for that matter.
I only knew of Indian Larry a little b4 Biker build off normally from old copies of easyriders or Iron horse but found out more when the program was aired.
A great loss to the biker world.
Still didnt find out when there aired in england, there a new series too.

Yeh I think he died about 30/31 Aug after falling doing a stunt without a helmet and suffered severe head injuries.
A sad loss to the biking world made great choppers

he was doing his trick riding gig standing on the seat with arms outstreched) at an event in North Carolina called Liquid Steel. It was a closed course and it was his second pass before the crowd. The front wheel started to wobble and he went down off the back of the bike. His head hit the pavement first. His wife was there and she was at his side while the paramedics prepped him for aeromed transport. He died last Mon. at 4:20 AM.

On a personal note, we got a few pictures of his bike in Sturgis, though we were not fortunate enough to meet him.
I have been told that he was the ONE custom bike builder who would actually stop and talk to fans and admirers when approached on the road, at a stop sign, sidewalk or whereever. He always took the time.
RIP Larry

Biker build off was on last night (Tuesday)It was one of the old series.Might be worth a look to see if it's on every Tuesday night.Indian larry allways came across as a biker who built bikes because thats what he loved, rather than because it would buy him another boat, car, house or whatever when he sold it.

Cheers Dynasty.
could do with more people like Indian Larry.
Wot i found with the biker build off series (i only saw the first 3) is that it was the oldish style bikes that won, good to see in my eyes although i did appreciate the other bikes well machines.
