That damned project of mine...

I've got another pic from the original AWoL feature, on the bike upon which mine is based on.

It's got this lovely nose fairing

Can anyone please tell me what it's off as I'm completely stumped - is it some sort of XT or DR???

Cheers
Mitch (a.k.a. Confused of Seaford)

.................if you can't find one I think I know where I can pick up one from an XT350 !!!!!!

Let me know,I'm sure it won't cost much .

you could try Yam dt125 LC but if you send a better shot of the full bike we could probs tell you better as we have Original AWOL staff here, just depends how long ago it was featured

It was featured in the Summer 2001 issue - however the article was written by a bloke called Derv (who I don't believe was a regular freelancer). That article says it's an XT500, however the 500 didn't have a nose fairing (hence the confusion)

Cheers guys...

Had a look at a couple of DT pics and I can see what you mean - the pic I posted managed to confuse one 'yamaha expert' who couldn't place it.

Anyroad, till I can get hold of the fairing, I'll make do with the standard headlight like Mrs R's - it looks pretty cool on there with the mudguard anyway. (wishing i had a digital camera so I could post some pics on here of work in progress :( )
