On our way back home from picking the bike up, it was running a treat, camchain rattle all gone etc.

Decided to stop for a bottle of drink at a garage in Tunbridge Wells. Biggest mistake we ever made!! She tries to start the bike again - Clunk - big plumes of blue smoke coming from the Starter Motor area.

We tried bump starting the bike to no avail - finally gave up and called the brakedown people...

the problem with this was, we'd got delayed in Essex so I had to leave her behind as I've had to work today. I wish I'd got feckin' day off today - though I had no holiday left!!!!!

Stop Press...

She's just phoned to say she's home safe - Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bike started again after about 10 minutes... Hmmm - twighlight zone beckons methinks!!

Got home ok haha, some miracle that given my incompetence at map reading - didn't even have a map.
Bike decided to start after 10 minutes rest, methinks I will need a new starter motor before Faro. More flippin' expense!! When does it end?

I did't hang about!!! Went for the ton in case in broke down again - just wanted to get home.
Tony he say starter motor playing up and will carry on doing it (it's been doing that for a while if you recall!) - new starter motor = £300 (eeeek!) but has a friend who reconditions them for £50-£60 or we can get one from the breakers like we normally do. Kissy kissy  :p
