Anyone going to the NABD Autum'nabness at Cornburry park, down oxfordshire way.
Its a great rally one of the best campsites around ( its got deer **** well posh) beer's cheap and the bands are usually good its the 10-12th September.
I know Stevie's usually there but anyone else up for it?

Yeah, I'll be there, but maybe not 'til Sat a/noon. I shall be there in a non-playin' capacity which will probably lead to incapacity by the end of the evenin' :D It'll be good to see ya Si

It's too close to my own club's rally the following weekend.
Like previous years I expect to be rushing around like a blue-arsed-fly for much of the weekend.

Friday looks the worst day. To top it all Ive got strange noises in the primary case on the bike so got to strip the motor before I go and find out whats wrong. Still we'll be down saturday and hopefully bring the sun with us.
Sounds like its going to be a busy rally lots of people Ive spoken to going.

Well, I got there eventually. We left around 2pm, Brenda and Katie on the Z1, me on the Suzuki 650. So off we went (after bumpstartin' the Suzi - shoulda guessed then there was a problem loomin' as it's as reliable as feck normally), unfortunatly somewhere up the A34 headin to Oxford it died, the battery boiled an' it sounds like the regulator has gone tits up. RAC took me back to Basingstoke (after a 3 1/2 hour wait) whereupon I threw everything in the c@r and arrived at Cornbury Park around 9pm last nite. And what a flippin' good do it was. Great to see folks again, drunk loads, won a didgeridoo in the raffle - don't expect that to appear on gigs in the future. Tho Cracklin' Rosie on a didg could be a laff. Woke up this mornin' - duh da duh da duh - mother of all hangovers which lasted 'til around 4pm. May possibly see some of you at the Soggy Moggy next week if the chop is finished.
aw sorry about that simon, sounds like you and stevie were in the same boat - in future we'll come and rescue ya - give us yer mobile number..!!
you did miss a goodun
we met forest fred - what a guy - gypsy has pics so no doubt you'll see them, only problem is he doesn't put a caption on saying who the pics are of..! (hint hint)
beermonsters were the best

Juley Simmonds was responsible for this one, Rick just basks in the glory :)
Also, hats off to all those people who took part in the impromptu "open-mic" session that replaced the battle of the bands.
And finally, I'm sorry we missed Stevie. Plans were afoot... Next time?
yeah I didn't know about that open thing Huw
I would have been happy to do my perfect rendition of the Friend's theme - Paul is a good teacher and I'm a fast learner
honest
we weren't too drunk to take it seriously at all
*grin*
