Went to this one 2 years ago, it was great then, this time it was great but i think its getting too popular, felt like there were too many festival types there, got a bit worried when I saw a few car loads of people coming in, driving straight through the valley, and these cars were crammed full of young uns.
Anyway we had a great time, met loads and loads of nice people including "berth Pat n sen " :D Mag volunteers "angie" gave us a good laugh on the thursday, met up with some forum members Mick n Joe.
Will be back next year but on Bikes this time.

Glad you enjoyed the rally
I have (just) recovered

The cars should not have been on site, but some inexperienced marshalls let them on by mistake
And we are all allowed one mistake eh!

Along with the toilets, before you all say.
Petch waters, rally toiletists to the stars sold up last year
The new people didn't have a clue.
Next Year , we will have 3 times the loo roll,(instead of raiding the fridaythorpe area for toilet paper at 10pm) 24/7 on site blockage clearence, as believe it or not, some toilets were not full-its just that people didn;t flush them & the sh*t piled up!
Many hours of praying ensured sunny weather
The Independant on sunday did an article which went in on sunday, but apparently was crap
Pat & Rik got here-some of the way under their own steam !
everyone was well behaved apart from a little altercation amongst our own Yorkshire MAG!!!!!!-easily diffused
the bands were brill-especially saturdays Stikky fingers & 3rd stone
the crap lorry driver who got stuck last year was not even let on the site! a tractor pulled the chiller wagon off to the road

I am not sure about the festival types-perhaps we are just pretty scruffy in Yorkshire !!!!
More later....

Hi Maggie
We had a bloody good time, I'd like to publicly thank Pete Walker and everyone involved in our rescue! You were great!
Yes folks the rally bus fuel pump died around 15 miles from the site, so rather than call the RAC and have them tow us home we called for help and they came out and towed us up Darraby? Hill and onto site, even running Rik around all over the place to get a new pump. Real biker spirit, we couldnt have asked for more. Thank You.

And contry to what everyone warned me... it was warm & sunny... during the day! At night it was freezing bloody cold but hey .. its Yorkshire what do you expect.
Rik spent all fri night talking engines with blokes who kept talking about 'y sen' it wasnt till sat morning he asked me.... whose this bloody sen bloke. LOLOLOLOL
