I have just had a new v5 (vehicle registration certificate). What was the matter with the old ones? Are the old style still legal tender? Am i part of a pilot scheme? why for only one of my bikes? This is too much time to go back to bed. :(

Hey Rabid, don't fret man ,be cOOOOOOlll !! :D

I think you'll find it's a new europeah thing , so that slowly , as time goes on , there will be a standard format.I only know this because my latest logbook wasn't the same either,so I asked them "why?".

The old V5s are all being replaced and will not be legal after the cut off date (July next year i think) so make sure all your bikes are on a SORN if they are not being used, when you send off your SORN notice they will issue a new type V5. You wont be able to use the old V5 to tax vehicles after the cut off date and you might have to re register your machines.
