You hear "The Streets" on the radio and identify it as the piece of moronic "yoof" music that it really is. No singing, no melody just some mockney oik desperately struggling to make the lyrics (?) rhyme.

The Streets - complete sh1t in my opinion! Bring back Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Nazareth etc etc. And whilst we're at it I'd like to see a "Swing Out Sister" revival.

I'll get me coat.

<*looks at phone with 'dry your eyes' sampled for messages and 'fit but you know it' sampled as ring tone*>

i must be one of the only bikers that aint 'actively' into rock music
i like rap (soft and hardcore) reggae R+B, soul (and anyone remember the Electro albums from the 80's they just brought out a best of album...i am in heaven)

i put it down to being brought up in Handsworth untill i was 25ish (thats my excuse and i is sticking to it)

But i do like the streets <*he says playing it defiantly on his Pc as we speak*>

as for music i dislike, well i am happy to listen to nearly all music (rock inc) the only music i dislike is 'Opera'..i really hate it with a passion

think its a real shame when a song or style of music is refered to as 'crap'..
you may like it... or you may not but no music is crap, its just not to your taste.
you seam to forget that the people buying led zep and sabbath when it was in the charts were 'young' people so that makes it 'yoof' music too.
i can think of a few rock tracks where lyrics were made to rhyme badly, often the subject was far more immature as well, i dont think AC/DC wrote anything for anyone past puberty.
some opera i like, some i dont.
Carmen is fantastic and a very deep pasionate story too. (bit like "whole lotta Rosie" i guess) ;)
