Worry not brother !
No emissions checks are done on SVA testing , or at least its not in the manual that i have, and its upto date!
the only ball ache we have as builders is the height of your indicators and exhaust stampings etc etc !
If you have a question that you need to check out in the SVA manual i'll get it out (the manual that is) and let you know!

Yeah, bloomin min height for indicators is more than the min height for brake/tail lights............great when you've fitted all-in-one units, doh!

For a exhaust stampings - isn't it like MOT now - no markings required and fine as long as its doesn't say "Not for road use" or "For race use only"? I'd a trike MSVAed almost 2 years ago with no marking on the endcan whatsoever.

If anything the exhaust noise test is more of a problem........my trike failed first time round on that.

It would only be 05/06 if your using all brand new parts for the build ...... everything every nut and bolt ..... to your building a radically chnged veihicle which would have to be sva'd then you would get a age related plate .... IMHO

more likely to issue a Q mate...... my mate tommy builds trikes last one got msva'd but because of the amount of 2nd hand parts used it was a Q when the reg came through

i personally prefer a Q plate on a trike as you know that its registered correctly
My new one is and my old one was as well

thanks for all your help...truth is ive got a Qreg already...i want to fuk that off so that i can get insurance cover at a reasonable price..that covers it for fire n theft..fully comps wey dear...i dont see why they have the right to sting me half to fukin death and then value it at fukall just cuz its Q'd.i wonderd if a new frame (custom not harley) would solve the problem...this bikes fully legit..my mate built it years ago..from largely new parts...but not quite enough apparently...including the frame n full SnS engine (not just the crank cases!!!) & still has all the recipts...tryed geting age related plate but there avin none of it.....maybe theres a more realistic insurance company out there that i havent found yet???
