back on the mend

got the opp on my L leg . they removed three large lumps of bone from around my knee . the doctor,s and staff were fine , was on a morphine pump, i was written up for two days , on it for approx 12hrs when this feckin bent staff nurse come,s on the ward he took me off the pump i was in agony after the effect.s wore off he then come accross and gives me two feckin paracetmol
said to him i need more than that for pain relief he that,s all your written up for waited another two hrs untill he started to look at my notes then he said come on i will put u back on the pump i said stick the fuckin pump up yer arse i want to see my surgon . surgon came up by this time i am in so much pain i am crying ( big heavy sap ) the surgon ask,s what the problem is told him the score and .that i have had enough and want to go home he then told the staff to get off the ward. gave me some strong pain killers tested my abdo i had not gone to the toilet since the opp so . said ive got to give u a catheter i refused his kind offer got up out off my bed the physo,s took me up and down some stairs sweating like a pig , then i called my work and got transport home
feckin wont be going into hospital again

makes me wonder why they don't go back to training nurses on the ward like in the good old days :confused: my mam worked her way up from auxiliary nurse to SEN all on the ward
