O.k folks its only 3 weeks away so who is coming out to play ?
and does anyone want to join the club party on Thursday night where we will be issuing false moustaches and specs in order to disguise ourselves from Doro( the current holder of the forum members gift !)

Silly question to ask Jim! He's not even sure who he is himself!
I know who I am but more importantly...... who is coming to the rally ?

Jim, don't mind coming to the party on thursday, as you know I like to get out now and then, however as you have glasses and a dodgy 'tash anyway would you like me to come up with a better disguise for you? Although as Doro kindly put her piccy on here as an avatar we have the advantage of knowing what she looks like, so we can avoid her or better still get her searched on the gate and have it confiscated and returned to her at the end of the weekend!!!!
Boy I've got my thinking boots on today!

Good plan Shudy. Though I would like to point out that my beard is most distinguished, though not yet in Mad Dogs league.

Half our bike club's turning up (LXIX from Horsham) it'll be very hit and miss whether we can get there, as it's week before the Forum Party - which is our main aim this year, so if we can, we'll pay on the gate.
We might need to sell more bike bits as I've chained Nancy up in the bedroom (I wish!!) so she can't come out to play - keepin' her all to myself see! :D
[QUOTE=Mitch]Half our bike club's turning up (LXIX from Horsham)
Dyslexia or Roman numerals ?
On a more serious note though, if the 2 of you can make it it would be great to see you both and I promise that you'll have a great time.
Plus there should be several from the Forum there so we could also use it as a warm up for the next weekend !

Roman Numerals mate!! LXIX (http://www.lxix.org.uk)
Cheers Jim, we would love to be there, as we told Santa when he came to the MAG stall at the Pissed Indian. The only real problem is Mrs R's work, she may have been booked to work one of those days cos she's got the Forum Party weekend off - That and the money... The only real problems are Mrs R's Work and money (we may be a bit brassic) - Oh and my bike may not be on the road... So that's three problems we may have to overcome - why we may not be able to make it, but we'll try our damndest, even if it is for the Saturday only
Life's never easy is it?

O'K I've just been down the club for the pre rally meeting. We sat down and worked out our pre book ticket sales, at this point last year it was 297.
This year it is almost 450 and then of course we'll have gate sales......SCARY !!
I've now got to spend the next 2 nights loading up the playlists onto the laptop for the disco, not much sleep for me I think.
We've just got confirmation on the big video screen which should ensure that no matter where you are you'll be able to see everything, especially the Mr and Miss Rally contests....which are usually quite educational.
We've also aquired some really trick lights so BIG CAT AUDIO ( quick plug, available for hire for rally PA and disco)will be putting on an even better display than last year.
Just hope the weather holds out.

Hell, I was gonna do it on my Kazoo anyhows.......
Tonight my head is bowed in sorrow
I can't keep the tears from my eyes
My son calls another man daddy
The right to his love I've been denied.
CHORUS
My son calls another man daddy
He'll ne'er know my name nor my face
God only knows how it hurts me
For another to be in my place.
Each night I laid there in prison
I pictured a future so bright
For he was the one ray of sunshine
That shone through the darkest of nights.
CHORUS
My son calls another man daddy
He'll ne'er know my name nor my face
God only knows how it hurts me
For another to be in my place.
Today his mother shares a new love
She just couldn't stand my disgrace
My son calls another man daddy
And longs for the love he can't replace.
CHORUS
My son calls another man daddy
He'll ne'er know my name nor my face
God only knows how it hurts me
For another to be in my place.
CHORUS
My son calls another man daddy
He'll ne'er know my name nor my face
God only knows how it hurts me
For another to be in my place.

I've finally managed to clean off the baby oil after Saturday nights 'stitch up'.
We had over 800 turn up and everybody seemed to have a good time. We ran the bar dry at 4 a.m this morning, shut the disco down and then passed out !
The only reason I'm still awake is cos of all the pro plus I've had over the last 3 days.
Next year will probably be ticket only as every year we get more and more turning up. 800 is just a bit to much for the site.
We don't know what the final figure was for the animal shelter but I'll post it when its been worked out.
A big thank you to all those who came and supported us,
WE LOVE YOU !!!
Saturday
we arrived quite a bit later than intended due to a detour to avoid M25 queues but got there just in time to see the rally virgins
then we gave Jim his present
photos will be posted later
then we went to say Hi to Pat and Mr Pat
then we did food, beer, shopping
finally it was time to join the crowd in the marquee
we really enjoyed men in frocks - great band - and kris liked the 1st band but can't remember who they were
we spent a lot of time catching up with old friends, and laughing quite a lot at the various 'games' being played on stage. Sadly we didn't realise it was Jim being oiled up by Miss Whiplash's boobs or we'd have got photographic evidence..!!
finally we saw shudy many times but didn't realise it was him until Sunday morning when Pat described him
Hey shudy....I saw you at the food van and I noticed you cos I thought the pattern on yer sleeve was a tattoo...duh...eyesight fades a bit after 6pm lol
then we saw you later in the beer tent going to the bar with a girlie in tow and mentioned the fact that we hhadn't seen a patch like yours before
so yeah we did see ya, and next time we'll make sure we say hi, provided you wear the same jumper ha ha
:D
anyway we had a fekkin brilliant time, the whole thing was very well managed, 'proper' loos with sinks and light, food van with homemade pizza and baked tatties - we heard loads of peeps saying how nice the food was - and the set up with the arena and everything was just right. We were impressed with the video (even though I was still too short to see those doughnuts) and the tiger projection....coooolll
this is a definite one to do again
many thanks Jim & Santa (yeah we saw you too but you were a bit busy) and all of the Tigers for a really really good PARTY.........!!!!!!!!!!!

the atmosphere was great
tigers should be proud of a damn good rally.. one of the best
we really enjoyed men in frocks - great band - and kris liked the 1st band but can't remember who they were
i think the first band were called 'black alice'
i kinda liked them just cos they played my type of music, cracking out the likes of ACDC etc
lead singer was damn good,,, they even played maidens 'wrathchild' and it has to be said that the singer was better at it than bruce himself (before i get pulled i know it was di'anno originally) :D
