yup, i gotta agree there are not may rallies with an indoor venue to touch it and there wasn`t any rain too. pitty I had to leave on sunday morningand miss the final night.

I gotta agree with the club annoucement on sat that next year will be a blue badge event only limiting the number of cars on site, (coz if ya bikes broken, why arn`t you at home spending the beer money fixing it, so you can go to another rally the following weekend).
but I might add that the number of disabled helpers might be looked at too, I might be out of place but why would someone require 6 - 10 helpers as has happen at another rally, abusing the space allocated to disabled camping.

We had our usual post rallly meeting and this very point was raised. Next year we will ask for Blue Badge and the badge holder can ask us to allow one helper in the car. Anyone else in the group must be on bike.

I'll email NABD and ask their opinion - but I think we've made the right decision.

dont know when you arrived peirre,it pissed it down thurs nt,we woke up to no gazzebo,sorry if it landed on you folks,we thought 70% of the bands were total ****.it would be a good idea if they kept the marquee further from the hall,so the bands werent compeating with each other,but hay1300 turnout,now thats a rally,more stalls next year too please. :rolleyes:

I arrived on site bout 1ish on fri but left on sunday morning, just got home and put the bike + kit away in time for it to severly rain down.
the hall was one of the better venues I`ve been to so far, the toilets, bars etc where excellent non of the porta bar / bog stuff.
the rolling stones tribute band to me where great ( though it looked like the lead singers face was melting :rolleyes: ) dunno a bout moving the marquee, but mebbe the bands sound checking while another band was playing was not the best move.
This was the 1st time I`d been to the wozzie + I`d heard so much about this rally and I wasn`t disappointed either, though trying to gulp down the bottle of peach schapps :eek: on sat afternoon while the silly games where on wasn`t a smart move.

the only minus point of the rally for me was a guy who came with us at the last mo, and was a complete dick, guess he won`t be at my next rally :D

Oi! Alan! did ya make it passed ten o`clock then? :D course i did you lightweight!! 3.30friday,4sat, 4 sunday all aprox times of course. got up for a piss sunday morning at 7am and there were still people in the marquee dancing, was a great rally you be there next year!

jeffs harley broke down(again) about 15mile from the site so he went home friday aft. with the AA then came back sat. morning in the car.

a big thankyou to you all for the great reports of our rally.we all had a great time even though it was hard work for the full team,inc all helpers,
the marshall russ who came of the bike on the run out is ok and on with sorting out the bike for the next rally .he sends a big thankyou to all who asked how he was doing.
BANDS. as part of the entertaments team thankyou to all the bands who played.i think we had a good selection of music that coverd all tastes from the 1950 rock a billy band all the way through to the new up and comein bands.its hard to please every one all the time but over all.the bands all had a great responce by the crowd. :D :D :D
to have 15 bands on over the week end its some times hard not to overlap on the sound checks in diffrent rooms but the idea behind it is so when the main room shuts down at 2am the next band is ready to play in the other room so its easy to empty out the crowd so the bar staff can re stock easy and get some sleep
we have learnt alot over the week end and all lessons learnt and comments made will be taken in to account :)

ref the sunday morning party at 7am. ok it was me i addmit it i was haveing so much fun that the disco did not get turned of or down till the wife came in after approxx 1hour of sleep out of 24 and gave me such a bol*****kin that all who where still haveing fun inc my self all looked very sheepish for atleast 5 mins then music whent back on at a lower volume :D
but the wife as now said sorry guys :o for putting a dampner on the party i send a big sorry out to you all ,and thankyou to you all for a great rally its all worth it in the end just to see you all looking as tired as me :)
