If I see them in the path about to get squished I pick them up and put them to the side they were aiming for. If they are in my garden eating my shrubs I put down pellets or put them in next doors garden...:)

Slugs are vile - i have loads in my front yard and they manage to get in the house somehow... if i find them they get a good dose of salt!

I put slug/snail pellets round my plants and usually ignore the snails, but slugs are just wrong.
