It reminds me of a time in Eastbourne a couple of years ago, me and Mrs R were at this do on't seafront around Lammas time... nice beautiful hot sunny day... when all of a sudden Mrs R pipes up 'there hasn't been any thunder and lightning for a while...?'
No sooner had she said that then... all you could hear was this gert big rumbling sound (and no, it wasn't my stomach either!!!)
Bugger! :D

mitch, that bought back a memory, many years ago our little 'club' was on a weekend runout to north wales when one of the guys lost it on a bend resulting in the trajic death of his missus who wae on the back anyway, after what turned to be a very fraught day we where back at our camp site shocked, drunk etc etc when one of the fellas who was into all things mystical dropped to his knees and beseeched the gods to show us a sign that caroline was with them, at that there was a flash of lightening and a huge peal of thunder. needless to say this totally freaked us all out. very strange.
