hi just looking for some info, ive already got a honda vf750 sabre trike and wanted to build a vmax trike but not sure what axle would be suitable or best for it, the vf got a reliant axle but dont think this would take the vmax torque plz help.

What sort of rear-end setup are you after? a hard tail? one-piece rear axle with suspension? (can't remember what you call that) or IRS setup?

If you're interested in a IRS setup then BMW axle work well - have a gander at my Max trike at http://www.oldcolo.com/~bradley/trike/

Im doin my max wit a reliant axle.... been told this will be fine as long as all seals and bearings changed on overhaul and ventilation added to aid breathing.

dunno bout diff its self but axle not too strong, very thin walled rusty tube will need to be well braced/ stiffened.

luego kit car man does a nice trike kit, for ford parts, but may do a bmw one soon if you ask him. (bmw parts easy to get and many diff ratios)

Their kits start at £1,400 and finish at £3,600 and you get a hell of a lot for that money...
I really think that when it comes to things like that you do get what you pay for.. believe me I've seen a hell of a lot of cheap ****e trikes.... :p
