Ok you lot! who fancies being a music critic? I want some advice on a track I made. Ya know...sort of, its ****e ...BUT...if you did .....You get the idea! I`ll email it in mp3 striaght from Monkey Towers to ya if ya wants, an you tell us wot ya thinks? No Swearing! :D

Downloaded ,listened, Nice! Not my usual brand of ear treatment .But a very enjoyable tune none the less. quite happy to listen to more...

There was able to do review wivout fnucking swearing and all that bollox.

Tried t send it mate but it got returned. Its a two an a half meg file an I dont tink hotmail support attachments over a meg! :( I`ll give it some heavy editing so you can at least get a flavour an try again later! :) You dont have soulseeker perchance? You could do a search for daves chillout an download it yerself then! :rolleyes:

If the file's too big to send to some peep.s e-mail addresses, you can use this instead...

send it to yourself, then just publish the return address that you get in the e-mail notification up here on the board....Then everyone can just download it...

it lasts seven days or 25 downloads, whichever comes first.

very handy for dodgy stuff too.....:)

No problem mate! Me influence for this track was a mixture o records I like. The main ones bein the soundtrack for the film blade runner. They are all laid back sort of rainy type tunes. I`d reccomend this to anyone who`s looking for some Bath music! Cue bubble bath candles and spliff..Oh! and the vodi n Coke!:rolleyes: I also like Gorreci by a band called Lamb. They are a progressive trancy jazzy type of outfit and a lot of their stuff is a bit way out for me but this one track called Gorreci is absolutely brilliant! You always hear it on Chilled ibiza type records. i wouldnt buy their stuff cos Gorreci doesnt sound like the rest of what they do. Infact it doesnt sound like them at all! Its a bit of a love record but way cool! I can send ya a link to download it if ya want! If yer question is ..did I copy anyone the answers no! Its my song made up from public domain samples overlaid using a sequencer program. If ya fancy doin one yerself I would reccomend Dance 6 or Acid music! they are both good. Acid is a bit more advanced than ejay Dance 6 but not as user friendly and you get loads o free samples with dance six. Anyway, cheers for the comments. I`ve just got in from the night shift from hell, covered in blood (not my own for a change) tired and stressed. Boy do I hate Personality disorders and self harmers! Ned a drink now but gottta go t bank to plead for my money back! (long story) Rock n Roll dude! :)

I got it mate! CD and Vinal although the Vinal copies different! Dont know why but they have different artists playing the songs, still good though! Email yer address an I`ll rip ya a copy! Ya can get me a pint when we sees each other! :D (Thats a pint o Vodi n Coke mind!) ;)

yep the background fill rather than anything else

i have just gone through my clannad album and it is the way the song is relaxing but has a beat to it (like some of the less well known clannad tunes)

Yep! just had a listen to me grotty old tape, that I taped me only tatty old Clannad single on, an yer right! Its starts with a sort ....Hhhhhmmmmm... and then the vocal comes in, similar to mine. I ave t say, in my defence though, they are quite dissimilar once they start. Clannad always ave that celtic thing going where as mine has.....erm.....somthing else! :confused: Anyway, an astute observation and one that has given me some ideas! (I dont get many)! ;) :D

i was thinking of 'Newgrange' & 'Ri' Na Cruinne' by clannad it has that chilled out with a beat in the tune(i know i doesnt sound a like its the style that reminds me of it)

cool cant wait for the next one (gosh we will have to pay for them soon...or rip them of kazza.(not that i condone such a thing ..oh no not i))

but it is a cracking tune i am impressed (not sure if that is a good think or a bad thing though :D )
