smells like teen spirit, sweet child of mine from the not too distant past spring to mind but the only current band i can think of who are true exponents of the riff are queens of the stone age. oh for the days of van halen, deep purple, sabs, floyd etc etc.

if yer not wearing the latest designer labels these days forget it. and heavy rock/metal just don't mesh well with designers

None of these tunes are more than a couple of years old (I know there's covers in there) and they all need my amps at 11!

Me and a mate went to Sherringham to a pub called the Crown, (down on the front,). They had a Band on called the Flat Greyhounds! A good covers band as well they were. But the crumpet there! I would have been put insde for wot I was thinking! The average age must've been 17 if you were lucky!

Papa Roach do some good riffs but they always sound like tampered with sab riffs (ALL hail the mighty IOMMI!) :)
