Ok stoopid question time,

If you have a bike licence what type of trike can you ride ?

and

If you have a car licence what type's of trike can you ride ?

if you search the forum this has been discussed a few times. basicly it depends on when youved passed your test

by the by a newbie gets the virtually beers in and mines a pint of sundowner :D

Bassically im triking me max and need to know what i got to do so's the missus can have a go, she has had a car licence for approx 11 years, she owned her own up till recently but with hindsight not even sure if she were covered on that.

free beers where ill have a pint of voddie and coke :cool:

So from what i can gather she is fine .... and there should be a lot of cheap trikes coming up when plod starts acting on this....

I've checked with the DVLA today and they stated that anyone riding a trike on a full motorcycle licence after 2001 would need to take (and pass) a car test to ensure their B1 entitlement..!

Im still thirsty these virtual barmen are bl00dy slow serving sorry chaps. :D

If you have just a bike license then i believe a recent change in the law means no you cant ride any sort of trike

if you have a car or car and bike license then you can ride any sort of trike
