Wind is a side effect of my illness, I can belch the smell of rotting food and the smell of my farts does regularly clear rooms. No joke or exageration.
Obviously nothing to be proud of, but also something I cannot hide.
Garden peas in particular make me blow the duvet onto the top of the wardrobe.

Speaking of farting in bed and quilts (or duvets to the posh), a fair few years ago, when my wife and I were first married, we visited a garden centre with her parents, this garden centre also sold kitchen equipment, of which one item was a 'Dutch Oven', of course, on seeing this I nudged my wife and sniggered, 'look, a dutch oven', she looked at me blankly. Then my Father in Law (ex navy) saw what I had pointed at and nudged my Mother-in-Law who reddened and sniggered too. My wife not understanding why we were laughing inquired as to what a Dutch Oven was, 'I'll explain later' I said.
That night, tucked up in bed, I brewed a right cracker, I then let rip and pulled the quilt over the missus head. She struggled and came up for air 'what the feck did you do that for!' she exclaimed, laughing I replied 'that my dear, is a Dutch Oven'. I don't know if she was more shocked at what a Dutch Oven was, or that her mother had known what it was. :D
Anyways, about a week later, my missus hadn't forgiven me for what I had done and sought revenge, not one to fart openly (she is rather ladylike, or at least was), she summoned up all her braveness, and while tucked up in bed one night, she let rip and pulled the quilt over HER OWN HEAD!. There was a moments pause, then from under the cover my wife said 'I haven't quite got the hang of this have I?. :D
To this day, I have never let her forget it. :)
