Was watching another argument and seeing the insults start to fly etc. I just had to giggle. You've got people saying you cant hate so and so because of this reason and if you do we hate you. We hate chavs, and we hate the french, we hate the Welsh, Scottish, Irish, English. We hate patriots, we hate Lefties, we hate this and we feckin hate that. Come on then people, whos right? Do we all have the right to hate, be racist, elitest so on so forth or do none of us have that right? It seems there is a lot of Hypocricy goin on here in my eyes. I mean how many times have i heard "we hate power rangers on here ", Why, cause they dont suit some ideal thats probably old and out of date or is it cause you think your better or what? Whats the difference then in saying i hate Jews? I dont condone killing them etc but surely i have the right to dislike as much as the next person dont i?
Maybe im just right in thinking that we all thrive on double standards and hypocricy. What do you lot reckon?

Just got me thinking Goff when John said tossers etc. Nowt against John but is it only for him to hate certain types cause his views are fashionable at the mo or can we all enjoy his freedom etc. At the end of the day you cant moan etc that you hate people cause they hate or your doing the exact thing. There's far too much sense being spoken here!That ability to express a personal opinion (even if you're the only one who thinks it) is called freedom! Throughout history people have died to defend the right to it. It is only lately that we seem to be being told by the powers that be that we're not allowed to have it anymore. We are supposed to toe the line and only express the 'official' position on any and every subject. I, for one, will not do this. I cling firmly to my right to form my own opinions, and, if asked, will express them, debate them, and even (very ocaissionally) change them if someone can convince me with logical arguement that my view is wrong. In my experience people who resort to personal insults when someone holds a different view to themselves have no logical reason for their views and cannot defend them against resoned arguement. As for feelings about other people or nations, how can anybody hold opinions about folk who (in many cases) you've never met and talked to, and have only hearsay to base your predjudices on? I won't condemn anybody i've never met, no matter what others may say about them!

Personally I dont think that anyone has or should have any more right to free speach than any one else. Anyone that tries to restrict anothers right to free speach is more likely to get violence as a response. If no one is listening and you become desparate to be heard, you up the anti.

the micro brewery i occasionally work for still sells the beer in gallons (well 9 gallon barrels anyway), and the one where i will be working full time from november this year will still be selling the ale in gallons too.
500 ml of any ale would still ( probably) cost the same as a pint at the pump too. the sooner we are out of europe the better tho i cant see any of the mainstream parties actually offering the people of the UK any chance of a referendum on leaving.
