Getting pissed off at the price of Yam spares here compared to USA. A 4-brush V-Max starter motor would cost me £105 if I was in USA but Fowlers quote £244+VAT.

Its fecking ridiculous - would be cheaper to order from USA and pay shipping & customs and still save a packet if it wasn't for the shipping time.

Anyone know of a UK dealer in Yam spares who doesn't charge the earth?

No, there isn't one! Try www.cycle-parts.com (http://www.cycle-parts.com) they're alot cheaper but you have to spend $100 (I think?) before they'll ship.

Thanks. Their prices seem good - $192.93 for the starter.

give dumbrells (wrong spelling) a call in st.astal cornwall on 01726 822402. i found them the best on prices but dont expect any help if it's not a UK spec bike. i found them a lot cheeper than my lacal yamaha dealer and also actualy had parts in stock. AMASING.

also had fowlers try to suply swing arm bushes for my ZZR11 and after 4 attempts i just had them made. cheeper and quicker.

good luck.
