Hi peeps, Ive reciently brought a Honda CD250 and the tyres are a pain as they are 17 inch .
all I can find are dodgy lang shag po nylon tyres or 10 yr old Avon SM skidmasters. the sizes are 3.00 x 17 and 3.25 x 17.
any ideas please????
not much of a question but if anyone has a sugestion (other than
set fire to it) id be very grateful.

I guess you've tried phoning Watlings/Universal tyres and such like.
If you find a local bike shop that has a 'Bike It' parts account then the trade catalogue lists your sizes for tubed tyres (and they're cheap)

ta alik,
Ive tried the local shops yeah, one honda shop could only come up with suspect thin looking asian tyres and a local car/bike tyre shop couldnt cope with the idea of a 3.00 tyre, he could only see that as a massive 300 size, so i left.
Id forgoten about watling tyres so il give them a shout, thanks very much.
when i got the bike it had a square section avon rear tyre on front and a low profile sports front tyre jobbie on the back.
mmm...?
